Micro-Derma Needling

What is Micro-derma Needling?
It is a brand new way to non invasively remove and soften existing lines, wrinkles (i.e. furrow lines, marianet lines, softening of labial folds, lines along upper and lower lips, crows feet around the eyes, etc.) smoothening or softening of the appearance of scarring and scar tissue left by acne, minor accidents or bites. This procedure is done without the aid of fillers (such as Juvederm and Restalyn) and / or the use of muscle relaxants like Botox.

The treatment known as ‘ Needling’ is not a new idea. Doctors use to insert a regular syringe needle into the wrinkle causing injury to the wrinkle line.  In turn, the healing process caused the wrinkle to appear smoother. The procedure was labour intensive,  painful and bloody, and it only had temporary results.

How does Micro-derma Needling work?
At Juventus,  however, we have made it better and longer lasting by introducing Radio Frequency Currents to this treatment – MICRO-DERMA NEEDLING.   This non-invasive treatment requires the incision of a fine needle with radio frequency currents into the wrinkle line or scar.   Inserting radio frequency into the wrinkle causes the constriction of elastic fiber bundles and collagen cells, gathering them together causing the filling in of the wrinkle or crevices of a scar. You are using your own collagen and elastic fibre bundles to do this (i.e. no fillers or muscle relaxants).

However, adding to or combined with Lipotron Treatments that also use Radio Frequency, the regeneration and production of new or existing collagen cells causes tightening and thickening of the dermal wall, to rebuild and re-bundle elastic fibers is greatly enhanced; the synergy of the two devices is incredible! This combination of Micro-derma Needling and Lipotron results in longer lasting results and the restoration of the youthfulness in skin texture and appearance… (It simply gets rid of fine lines and wrinkles)…Just think you can have fabulously smooth, line free upper and lower lips – No more having to deal with bleeding lips when you apply lipstick or gloss.

Consultations are complimentary.  The process entails a session of Lipotron treatment, followed immediately by the Microderma Needling treatment.  Treatment results and the number of treatments to be preformed depends on the depth of the wrinkle or line to be treated. (On average 3 – 4 treatments on deep lines and wrinkles are not uncommon.)

Micro Needling, utilizes micro needles to create invisible micro perforations or micro channels in the skin’s Epidermis and top layer of the Dermis – the skin reacts by shifting into HIGH gear, producing Collagen and Elastin to repair the ‘ Holes ’  or micro perforations. This repair property is 100% skin’s natural form of renewal from inside out. Compared to other treatments, it not only activates cell regeneration, it also enhances the absorption of active ingredients into the skin during the treatment before the skin closes The Skin, your Skin becomes firmer and regains its elasticity, fine lines and wrinkles are visibly reduced, pores become firmer, circulation is stimulated and the overall condition of the skin IMPROVED.
